To join the Astonfly Ryanair Future Flyer Academy training programme and secure your first conditional job offer as an airline pilot, you must successfully complete a dedicated selection assessment. This assessment is offered at a cost of €149.
1. ONLINE PRESELECTION
Pre-selection is conducted through an online remote assessment, including various tests in logic, reasoning, and English.
The result determines whether the candidate is shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process.
Successful completion of this pre-selection remains valid for 12 months.
2. ON-SITE SELECTION
If the candidate successfully passes the online pre-selection, they will be invited to complete a group assessment and an individual interview at the Astonfly campus in Paris – Toussus-le-Noble (France).

Without Astonfly, I probably wouldn't have found out about Ryanair's recruitment programme so quickly. I was lucky enough to be one of the first to take part after my training. Thanks to the school's support, I was able to take part in conferences, understand in detail what was expected of me, and prepare effectively for my future role in the company. This preparation and support enabled me to seize opportunities that I wouldn't have imagined otherwise.
Three months after completing my training, I was hired by Ryanair as Second Officer. Thanks to the solid training I received at Astonfly, I intend to progress rapidly to become First Officer. This is testament to the quality and relevance of the training provided by Astonfly.

First Officer, Boeing 737
In 2018, I joined the ASTONFLY school for an integrated ATP training course. The quality of the teaching team and meeting brilliant instructors gave me the opportunity to achieve my goal in a field I'm passionate about. The methods instilled by this school - a taste for work and effort, a sense of perseverance - enabled me to be prepared for type rating as well as line operations.
I can only highly recommend this school and thank all the team who supported me in my work to get to the controls of a liner.

First Officer, Boeing 737
"Do it well, or don't do it". That's Astonfly's motto. I finished my integrated course at Astonfly in September 2020.
This school near Paris was growing fast, with a quality service and a state-of-the-art fleet similar to that of an airliner. It was also renowned for its theoretical and practical teaching methods, enabling me to meet the requirements of the airlines as soon as I finished my training, such as safety and adaptability.

The salary of an airline pilot varies widely, from €36 to €200,000 gross per year, depending on the airline, the type of aircraft operated, the position held (co-pilot or captain), seniority and flight experience.
If you want to become an airline pilot, you can take the Integrated ATP course (Multi Airlines or Ryanair Future Flyer Academy), which enables you to become an airline pilot thanks to 2 years of intensive, full-time training.

To help you finance your professional project, Astonfly has a partnership with BNP PARIBAS. You benefit from a preferential rate of just 1.99% to finance the cost of your training, with repayment over 9 years that can be deferred for up to 36 months.
