Pauline Foubart
First Officer, Airbus A320
"I did my training with Astonfly from September 2018 to September 2020. The theory was taught at Toussus le Noble. Then came the practical part, I was lucky enough to have great instructors, who taught me through flights and simulators the profession of airline pilot.
I started as a pilot with Astonjet in business aviation, and then joined Air France as a co-pilot on the Airbus 320."
Etienne Toutoundji
Second Officer, Boeing 737
"Without Astonfly, I probably wouldn't have found out about Ryanair's recruitment programme so quickly. I was lucky enough to be one of the first to take part after my training. Thanks to the school's support, I was able to take part in conferences, understand in detail what was expected of me, and prepare effectively for my future role in the company. This preparation and support enabled me to seize opportunities that I wouldn't have imagined otherwise.
Three months after completing my training, I was hired by Ryanair as Second Officer. Thanks to the solid training I received at Astonfly, I intend to progress rapidly to become First Officer. This is testament to the quality and relevance of the training provided by Astonfly."
Anthony Bégé
First Officer, Airbus A330
"After several years as a navigator in the French Air Force, I decided to switch to a civilian pilot to put my military experience to good use. I was looking for a school to take my CPL licence and IR ME rating, and my choice quickly fell on Astonfly.
The use of a modern fleet, the issuing of EASA qualifications and the location in the Paris region were all decisive factors. The gamble paid off, because after my training I started working as an instructor, then as a pilot in business aviation, and now on Airbus with Corsair."
Lucas Herail
Fist Officer, Boeing 737
"I trained as an airline pilot with Astonfly. Thanks to this high-quality training, I have acquired the rigour and professionalism that are essential for this profession.
I benefited from a suitable infrastructure, a team of competent instructors and a very modern fleet. I also feel that Astonfly has all the training qualities you need to succeed in this profession. That's why I recommend this flying school."
Nicolas Jovanovic
Fist Officer, Boeing 737
"As a former Astonfly student who trained to become an airline pilot, I was lucky enough to benefit from high-quality training, with a level of professionalism that met the requirements of the profession, on a fleet of modern aircraft, with competent and demanding instructors.
Thanks to this high-quality training, I was able to pass my Boeing 737 type rating and was immediately selected by Air Baltic. I am now continuing my career with Norwegian Airline."
David Sitruk
First Officer, Dassault Falcon 7X
"Professional and rigorous school with numerous instructors in brand new premises. The latest-generation aircraft are clean and available, thanks to an on-site mechanical workshop and an efficient ramp service.
I completed my integrated training in less than 18 months, and was immediately hired by a business aviation company, which was my goal. It's a real pleasure to have been trained at this school. I can't recommend it highly enough."
Solal Gabin-Novel
First Officer, Boeing 737
"As a former student at Astonfly for my ATPL training from 2018 to 2020, I really enjoyed my two years at the school, thanks to which I was able to achieve the standard to join an airline.
Throughout the course, the various instructors who trained me and the teaching team provided me with all the skills I needed to pass the exams, as well as the selections. It was the quality of the training that enabled me to make a smooth transition to type rating and line."
Mathias Mimouni
First Officer, Boeing 737-800
"I was lucky enough to do my integrated training at Astonfly between 2018 and 2020.
The quality of the aircraft, the premises and the strong commitment of the instructors enabled me to obtain my CPL IR ME in 2 years despite the health crisis.
The school trains us to be airline pilots right from the start, and you can really feel it when we're in the simulator with pilots who have taken training elsewhere (particularly during the MCC).
Thanks to the quality of the training, I was able to find my first job as an airline pilot the year after I finished my training.
I'm completely satisfied with my time at Astonfly and I'd strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to become a pilot!"
Olivier Larignon
First Officer, Boeing 737
"In 2018, I joined the ASTONFLY school for an integrated ATP training course. The quality of the teaching team and meeting brilliant instructors gave me the opportunity to achieve my goal in a field I'm passionate about. The methods instilled by this school - a taste for work and effort, a sense of perseverance - enabled me to be prepared for type rating as well as line operations.
I can only highly recommend this school and thank all the team who supported me in my work to get to the controls of a liner."
Antoine Martorana
First Officer, Boeing 737NG
"Astonfly was my number 1 choice for training to become a commercial pilot after a career as an aeronautical engineer. The professionalism of the school, the experienced instructors and the modern fleet of aircraft prepared me right from the start for the standards of my first employers.
I started my career as a single pilot on the Diamond DA62, I joined Ryanair with my training partner less than a year after leaving school and today I'm First Officer at Transavia on the Boeing 737NG.
The high standards required during my Astonfly training ensured a smooth transition to my Boeing 737NG type rating. I certainly took my training seriously, but I've always enjoyed flying at this superb school."
Sylvain Baty
First Officer, Cessna Citation M2
"I completed my integrated ATP airline pilot training at Astonfly between December 2019 and November 2021. When I left school, I had the opportunity to join Astonjet to work on the ground and shortly afterwards to start as a first officer on the C525 M2. The school's teaching tools and the quality of the instruction enabled me, through personal work and investment, to reach a very competitive level in the market for inexperienced pilots.
The school's framework is rigorous, the instructors are demanding, and the training is well standardised, providing an excellent framework for the students (the school is the tool you have to become a pilot, but personal commitment is the key to quality)."
DID YOU KNOW?
The salary of an airline pilot varies widely, from €36 to €200,000 gross per year, depending on the airline, the type of aircraft operated, the position held (co-pilot or captain), seniority and flight experience.
If you want to become an airline pilot, you can take the Integrated ATP course (Multi Airlines or Ryanair Future Flyer Academy), which enables you to become an airline pilot thanks to 2 years of intensive, full-time training.
The Ryanair Future Flyer Academy program is more expensive, as it offers students a conditional promise of employment signed with Ryanair before the start of their training, and the company manages and supervises the student for the duration of their training.
To help you finance your professional project, Astonfly has a partnership with BNP PARIBAS. You benefit from a preferential rate of just 1.99% to finance the cost of your training, with repayment over 9 years that can be deferred for up to 36 months.
In the event of failure or withdrawal during the theoretical course, Astonfly will reimburse you in full for the sums already paid for your training. In the event of failure or withdrawal during the practical course, Astonfly will reimburse you for any flight hours not yet used, without penalty.
To enroll in an Astonfly ATP airline pilot course, you need at least a high school diploma and a satisfactory level of understanding and expression of the English language.

It is essential for student pilots to have a good level of English, both to be able to follow the theoretical and practical courses, which are given in English, and for radio transmissions, which are mainly in English.
