Founding Chairman
Charles Clair, an airline pilot for over 15 years, is the founding Chairman of Astonfly, which he created in 2004. Passionate about aviation and education, he has used his expertise to develop an institution in the field of training. Under his leadership and vision, Astonfly has become a key reference in the field of aviation training in Europe.
Patrick Milward
General Manager
With a scientific and commercial background, and an MBA, he has 20 years' experience in team management. With a private pilot's licence and a boundless passion for flying, he joined Astonfly in 2017 as Sales Director.
Appointed Managing Director at the beginning of 2020, he is determined to drive Astonfly even further towards excellence.
Jérôme Pujot
Head of Training
With 25 years' experience and over 12,000 flying hours in the aeronautical field, he has had the chance to explore the different facets of the pilot's profession. His many assignments as an instructor, examiner and pilot-in-command in flying schools and airlines have enabled him to reinforce the teaching expertise passed on to Astonfly students.
Laurent Carpi
Deputy Head of Training
After more than 25 years as an instructor in Europe and the United States, he has been involved in Astonfly's development for more than 20 years. Today, he is a flight examiner, deputy head instructor and instructor pilot of our Airline Pilot Training Team.
Laurent Heim
Chief Flight Instructor
After a career as a professional fireman, he turned to aviation. From microlight pilot to twin-engine pilot, Astonfly has put its trust in him over the past 4 years to train the airline pilots of tomorrow.
Today, as Chief Flight Instructor, he is continuing his commitment to selecting, training and standardising a team of quality instructors.
Said Hadid
Deputy Chief Flight Instructor
Saïd began flying at the age of 14, a trained engineer, coach, professional pilot and instructor, he was also a member of the French Advanced aerobatics team as pilot and team manager of the French Advanced team from 2019 to 2023, crowned by the title of World Champion in Las Vegas in November 2023.
Flight Director, aerobatic, mountain wheel and glacier instructor, he brings to Astonfly his experience as an instructor, supervisor and pilot requirement to the training of professional pilots and to the training of pilots in UPRT, Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training.
Olivier Chirpaz
Deputy Chief Flight Instructor
A professional pilot since 1992, and an instructor for over 20 years, he joined Astonfly in 2014, where his solid experience of over 10,000 hours of instruction and his skills as an instructor and examiner, as well as his qualifications on twin-turboprop ATR42/72 and twin-engine Cessna Citation Mustang aircraft, give him a wealth of experience that he brings to the instructors' pool.
Syphax Yanis Bouheraoua

A pilot with a passion for teaching and aviation, he plays a key role in the training of our future pilots. With flight experience and an in-depth knowledge of aeronautical theories, he is committed to passing on his knowledge with pedagogy and enthusiasm. His passion for aviation and dedication to educational excellence ensure that every student benefits from high-quality, rigorous and inspiring training. With his expertise and caring approach, he prepares our students to excel in their flying careers.
Amélie Beau
Operations Manager
After graduating with a B.A. in English and a Master’s degree in International Business, she decided to look abroad: first England, then Sweden, before finally settling in Malta for over two years. It was there that she discovered aviation and developed a passion for it. Back in France, she joined the Astonfly team in March 2023 as Operations Manager.
Tarek Fourati
Sales Manager
With a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Sales and Marketing Management, this aeronautics and automotive enthusiast has nearly 10 years of experience, including 3 years as a Sales Engineer for one of the international leaders in the elevator industry. He joins ASTONFLY as Sales Manager in 2018. His expertise of the sector and his performances allow him to become Sales Manager in 2020.
Guillaume Fournie
Compliance and Safety Manager
After graduating in aeronautical engineering in Canada in 2009, he returned to France and began his career in private aviation. Passionate about aeronautics, he spent 10 years in a major airline where he specialised in compliance and safety management. He joined Astonfly as Head of Compliance in 2022.

Nadia, our Customer Services and Reception Manager, is Astonfly's warm and welcoming smile.
