Multi Airlines: train for the airline of your choice

Multi Airlines is a 24-month airline pilot course, full-time and entirely in English. It leads to the licences and ratings needed to apply to several airlines, without being tied to a single employer.

The programme is aimed at candidates who want to become professional pilots while keeping an open career project. It is accessible to beginners, students and people changing career, subject to meeting the admission conditions and passing the Astonfly selection.

No. The programme is designed to let candidates with no prior aviation experience start from the fundamentals of flying.

The training lasts 24 months full-time. It includes a theory phase then a practical phase organised progressively up to obtaining the professional licences and ratings set in the course.

Yes. The training is delivered entirely in English to prepare students for the international environment of air transport, professional communications and future airline selections.

Subject to success, the course leads to the licences and ratings needed to start a professional pilot career, notably the ATPL theory, the CPL, the multi-engine rating, the IR ME, advanced UPRT and the APS MCC.

The programme is not tied to a single airline. You can apply to various airlines and operators, depending on your profile, your ratings, their selection process and the available opportunities.

Graduates can move into different environments: commercial aviation, business aviation, cargo aviation or flight instruction. Access to each role depends on operators’ needs, recruitment criteria and the experience required.

Yes. During the training, you’re prepared for the most common selection formats: building the pilot CV, aptitude tests, individual interviews and group interviews. Each airline has its own recruitment process, however. This preparation helps you understand the main steps and approach them with more method.

Yes. For the 12 months after graduation, you receive personalised support with a career coach to structure your search, prepare your steps and better understand airlines’ expectations.

The IR ME is the rating that lets you fly a multi-engine aircraft using the on-board instruments, particularly when the flight can’t be made by sight alone. In the year following the end of your training, Astonfly covers the revalidation of this rating so it stays valid during your search for a first job.

Astonjob is Astonfly’s pilot career and jobs platform. It lets you browse pilot offers, create and update your professional profile, and present your licences, ratings, flight hours and availability to recruiters. Multi Airlines graduates get ongoing access to the platform.

The Alumni network brings together more than 2,000 former Astonfly students present in over 50 airlines. It lets you discover varied career paths, stay connected to the different classes and follow the network’s news and events.

No. No training programme can automatically guarantee recruitment, because each airline applies its own criteria and selects its candidates. Among the classes tracked by Astonfly, 96% of Multi Airlines graduates reach a pilot role within 12 months of their training. This figure is an observed result, not an individual guarantee.

Subject to the conditions set in the contract, Astonfly refunds all the sums paid for the theory training in the event of failure or withdrawal at the end of the nine months of this phase.

If there’s an interruption during the practical training, the sums corresponding to the unused flight hours are refunded according to the terms set in the training contract.

The Multi Airlines programme prepares students to apply to several airlines and does not tie them to a single employer. The Ryanair Future Flyer Academy is a path specifically geared towards Ryanair, with a dedicated selection, monitoring by the airline and a conditional job offer signed before training.

The first step is to check the admission conditions, then book an appointment with an Astonfly adviser to understand the selection process and how to register for the test. After passing the selection, the candidate can finalise their enrolment in the programme.
