Does Astonfly have its own student residence?

Astonfly does not own a residence directly on campus, but works with several partner residences located near the training centre.

Is housing booked directly through Astonfly?

No. Astonfly shows you the partner options, but the booking and contract are made directly with the chosen residence.

How far is housing from the campus?

Over 100 partner homes are available roughly within twenty minutes of the Paris-Saclay-Versailles campus. The exact distance depends on the chosen residence and traffic conditions.

What types of housing are available?

Depending on the residences, you can find individual studios as well as flats or duplexes suited to different needs.

What services can be included?

Some residences offer Wi-Fi, parking, a weekly cleaning service, shared spaces or a gym. Amenities vary from one place to another.

Is sport included in the training?

During the theory course, two hours of sport a week are built into the training, with several activities offered depending on availability.

What events are organised for students?

Astonfly runs various highlights such as integration events, outings, talks, wings ceremonies, graduations and seasonal events.

Can parents visit the campus?

Yes. Candidates can come with their family to discover the campus, meet the teams and better understand the training environment.

When should you look for housing?

As soon as your admission is confirmed. Partner residences have their own availability: the earlier you start, the more choice you keep as the intake approaches.

Do you need a car to get to campus?

The campus is at Paris-Saclay-Versailles airport, outside the town centre. Many students use a car, and some residences offer parking. Car-sharing between classmates is common.

Does Astonfly act as guarantor for housing?

No. As the contract is signed directly with the residence, the guarantee, deposit and application terms are set by the chosen provider. Astonfly can, however, certify your enrolment in training.

The campus has spaces where students can have their meals and meet up between sessions. Catering options are also available near the airfield.

How does settling in work for a student from abroad?

Partner residences welcome students of different nationalities and offer furnished housing, which makes settling in from afar easier. The admissions team guides you towards the options suited to your situation.

Does class life matter during the training?

It plays a real part. Training takes place as a class, with pair work, shared sessions and highlights throughout the year. Many students also live in the same residences.
