Training

UPRT — Upset Prevention and Recovery Training — holds a special place in the course. It’s about learning to recognise an unusual situation, avoid it and, if it occurs, recover control of the aircraft methodically.
The Mudry Cap 10 allows attitudes that conventional training aircraft don’t. This margin is needed to physically feel what no theory lesson can convey.
The aim remains safety, never acrobatic performance: the Cap 10 is not used to train for aerobatics.
Every flight is framed by a briefing and a debriefing. The student works on situation recognition, prevention, recovery, stress management and fast decision-making.
What’s at stake is as much physical as mental: keeping a method to hand when the situation goes beyond the usual.
