Funding your pilot training: the solutions that really exist

Astonfly1 min read

Funding airline pilot training almost always comes from combining several sources. Our advisers draw up a personalised plan before training starts.

The four main routes

Instalment payment: 10% at enrolment, then SEPA direct debits spread over up to 18 months.

The BNP Paribas student loan, whose repayment can be deferred up to 36 months — a useful flexibility so you only start repaying once training is over.

OPCO, when your professional situation allows partial funding.

Transitions Pro, as part of a professional retraining project.

What is not available

The CPF cannot be used to fund our airline pilot training. Any information to the contrary is a confusion with other aviation courses.

A protected investment

The “pass or get a refund” scheme provides, under conditions, the refund of the theory and of unused flight hours. It is not a job guarantee: no school can promise an individual recruitment.
